Where do I start!?
I get this question a lot!! And typically people want to feel better right now.
Wellness is a direction, not a destination.
So you need to commit to the journey- that sounds like a headache and a money, pit, I know. However, it's like fitness- you don't just work out until you reach your desired strength and then stop. You commit to the journey, learn new/better habits, and also figure out along the way: what works best for you, how your body reacts to certain stressors, where your body is weakest / needs the most support, and more!
In my over 20 years in healthcare, I subscribe to the philosophy that the body inherently wants to get better and is always seeking to function optimally.
There is an excessive amount of supplementation in the industry that I find is typically based on fads, quick fixes, and bandaids.
My focus is: Foundational Medicine.
Inflammation is the perfect place to hide toxins and is at the root of all aging and disease- so first focus on diet to bring this down.
Then clear out toxins and stagnation which breed disease.
Then focus on clearing out pathogens who have come in as the 'clean up crew' to help manage the toxicity and stagnation. However, they are like house guests, who don't know that it's time for them to go, and they start taking up too much space and throwing off your immune system.
With strong pathways to expel toxicity, a lower toxic burden, then we go into the bloodstream and systemically in the body to see where else toxicity and pathogens might be hiding. Since these are embedded deeper in your body, it is important to take those first 2 steps- strengthen your body's 'detox muscle'.
As a result of these steps, my clients experience improved immune systems, greater energy, increased mental clarity, and more.
